UPDATES
This privacy policy was updated as of 14/02/2019.

COOKIES POLICY
A cookie is a simple text file that is downloaded to a computer (or any other device used to navigate) to store information relating to navigation of a particular site. Cookies are downloaded from the Web Server that hosts the site and are downloaded by browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) used by the end user; these files then reside in the user's device and are used/read during subsequent visits to the site.

TYPES OF COOKIES
Cookies, web beacons, tags and similar technologies may be grouped according to their characteristics or purpose.
Depending on the length of their expiration period, cookies may be persistent and session based.
o Session based cookies last only until the end of the session, and expire at the end of your current visit to the site. They allow us to link your actions during that particular session.
o Persistent cookies are stored on the device between different browser sessions, allowing us to remember your preferences or your actions on multiple sites.

Depending on the property, cookies are divided into two categories:
o First-party cookies are those set and managed by Imer International SpA and by our website when visited by the user to preserve your preferences.
o Third-party cookies are placed in your browser by a domain and a provider when you are not visiting our website. Our website sets third-party cookies from our analysis and marketing partners and suppliers.

Cookies, web beacons, tags and similar technologies, managed by us or by third parties, serve different purposes on our website. Depending on the purpose, they may be essential to the functioning of our website and our services, or enable us to provide additional functions such as monitoring of user trends and movements, analysis of demographic information, provision of analytical data on the site and for advertising.

Depending on the purpose, they are classified into the following categories:
o Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are necessary for the operation of the website. They can store your account identifier, the status of orders, customisation and website tracking. They can also be used for technical purposes such as keeping track of your current shopping session, making it possible to proceed to checkout and pay for your order or to save the information that has already been entered (for example the choices of your region and language), so that we can offer services, products and other relevant communications tailored for you. Cookies also enable us to fulfil our contractual obligations towards third parties and partners in the event that you've made a purchase on our website by following a link from them. It is not possible to manage this type of cookie in our system and, in order to disable them, it is necessary to proceed in a transversal way through your browser settings. You can set your browser to block or notify you about these cookies, but please note that in this case some parts of the site will not work.
o Analytics cookies: We use third-party analytics services to collect information on the use of this site, such as number of visits, pages visited, the popularity of certain content. Analytics tools use tracking cookies to recognise your device and complete information about you. They collect information about the pages you visit and how much time you spend on these pages, the IP address assigned to you, which operating system and web browser you use and which site you visited before visiting our website. If you disable these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site and we will not be able to monitor and improve its performance.
o Functional cookies: These cookies allow our website to provide advanced functions and customisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers for whom we have added their services to our pages. If you do not accept these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.

A list of the cookies we use on our site, classified by category, is available in the Cookie settings. Our site is regularly scanned with a cookie scanning tool in order to keep the composition of the list of cookies in each category as accurate as possible.

BLOCKING COOKIES
Cookies can be restricted or blocked by browser-specific settings, so if a user wishes not to store some cookies on their computer, the web browser may be configured accordingly. The user can choose to either block all cookies or just specific ones. At any time, the user can choose to delete cookies stored on their navigation device. The settings must be changed separately in each browser and computer used.

If cookies have been blocked, proper operation of the website cannot be guaranteed. Some functions may not be available and it may no longer be possible to view certain pages.

It is important to note that blocking cookies does not eliminate the display of any advertisements. They will simply no longer be tailored to your interests.
